Dear constituents: Please accept this message as my intent to run for the federal PC party nomination. My name is Ferduse (Fred) Bari, and I am excited to introduce myself as a candidate running for the Durham Riding by-election. I am a long time resident of the Durham riding for over 23 years. I am a family man happily married with three children whom all were born and raised in Durham, also I am a dedicated leader with a diverse background in telecommunication, automotive, and law. And I bring unwavering commitment and a deep sense of community service, towards the beautiful riding of Durham.

During my tenure as the Director of Network Services at Ericsson Canada, I played a crucial role in building the first generation of wireless  networks across Canada. This marked a significant achievement in our country's technological landscape and showcased my effective leadership.

I further expanded my expertise by joining General Motors Canada, Oshawa, in the automotive industry. This experience allowed me to diversify my skill set and broaden my understanding of the sector.

Driven by a desire to make a difference, I pursued a career in law and became a licensed paralegal. My comprehensive knowledge of the Canadian Constitution Acts, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and all three levels of government positions, give me the knowledge to advocate for the rights and well-being of the Durham community.

My commitment extends beyond my professional life. I founded the Malvern-Scarborough Community Network Care, a community organization dedicated to supporting senior citizens and local youth. Through initiatives such as monthly gatherings, meal services, job training, and resume drafting, I have positively impacted the lives of many individuals.

In response to the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, I established the Canadian Single Parent Network. Through this initiative, I have provided essential support to thousands of single parents, including groceries, masks, and organizing Christmas dinner parties and toy drives for children in need.

I am actively involved in the Durham Community Network and Rotary Clubs, continuing to make a difference in our community through various projects and initiatives.

My story reflects relentless determination, resilience, and a commitment to serving others. As a candidate in the upcoming by-election for the Durham Riding, I believe my leadership and diverse expertise make me an ideal representative for our community.
